2019年第三季度中国公共管理研究佳作推介The Seaso's Choice of Five Noteworthy Chinese Publications: June-September 2019

摘要(Abstract)：
In this review essay, I summarize and comment on five articles published in Chines ejournals from June to September 2019. These studies cover interesting phenomena acrossa variety of policy areas, including the drinking culture of street-level bureaucrats, the erosion of the staffing system, the sustainability of local government innovation, the unintended consequences of the fiscal decentralization reforms, and the contextualization of public service motivation. Using different methods, these articles present compellingcase s that contribute to our understanding of public administration in China. Together, theys uggest that we should make an effort to take China's unique context into account whenwe examine lic administration phenomena. These articles also ask meaningful comparative puresearch bquestions for the international community that will contribute to the theoretical development of our field.
